The University of Toronto Fashion Club (UTFaC) is a new club at UofT that focuses on fashion trends, styles and modelling, to give students a creative outlet amidst a rigorous academic environment.

University of Toronto Fashion Club
The University of Toronto Fashion Club is a newly formed club for students to learn more about fashion and its progression throughout the years. The club aims to provide a safe space where students can learn some tips and tricks of modelling as well as how to walk the ramp as a professional. The weekly meetings would include rehearsal sessions for students who are willing to participate in the Fashion Show as well as educational meetings so they can delve deeper into the world of fashion.
By way of this club, I want to promote confidence in students and for them to feel comfortable in any environment (even if it's out of their comfort zone). This club advocates for body positivity and gender neutrality and accepts students regardless of if they fit within the “societal norms” of what is considered acceptable to be a model. This club aims to provide a creative outlet for students interested in fashion design as well as educate students on how fashion has evolved over these years. The fashion show would provide interested students a peek into the lives of ramp models and experience the whole process of putting on a fashion show!
